Have you ridden a Domane? I rode one a few years ago. It definitely forces

you to smooth out your pedaling. That Isospeed frame takes a little getting used to. I like the idea of putting fatter tires on, particularly in cold weather for the reasons I mentioned earlier. I've never seen a road bike with a built in trunk that. Unfortunately, they stopped making the Domane in larger sizes (63-64) so it wouldn't work for me.
